We are hiring Mechanical Design Manager
Position
Manager: at least 8-10 years. Code MDO-00M
Job Description
Perform Mechanical designs for low voltage panels /medium Voltage of sheet metal enclosures/Copper (Bus Bar ) for different kind of low voltage panels.
Well known of standard electrical panels designs such as (SIEMENS, ABB,…etc)
Designing Sheet Metal Components & creating detailed designs and specifications for sheet metal components or products based on project requirements.
Selection of appropriate sheet metal materials & apply nesting over parts is a plus .
Optimizing the design of sheet metal components in terms of functionality, structural integrity, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness , performing stress analysis, and applying engineering principles to ensure the design meets performance requirements.
Validate the design and ensure its practicality , collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop prototypes and conducting tests to evaluate their performance and durability.
Design processes and consider capabilities during the design phase to ensure efficient and cost-effective production. This involves designing components that are easy to manufacture, assemble, and inspect, while minimizing waste and optimizing production cycle times.
Creating and maintaining accurate technical documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs). These documents serve as guidelines for manufacturing, assembly, and quality control processes.
Job Requirements
Previous experience as a sheet metal Design Engineer, former Production Engineer is a plus.
8-10 yeas experience at least in electrical panels mechanical designs.
Proven experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, …etc
Excellent knowledge in excelle and powerpoint.
Have Excellent knowledge about cnc bending , punching & laser cutting machine is a plus.
Great computational and spatial ability.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Attention to detail.
BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
